Frances Martel

Frances Martel is an author and editor specializing in international current events. She is Breitbart News's National Security editor and a frequent guest on the news organization's SiriusXM programs Breitbart News Daily and Breitbart News Tonight. Her work has been cited across the American political spectrum – from Rush Limbaugh to Lawrence O'Donnell – and she herself has been appearing on radio programs regularly since the age of 18. She has appeared on Ringtalk Radio, The Wayne Allyn Root Show, The Hard Question with Blanquita Cullum, The Wilkow Majority, among others, and on television at Newsmax TV and One America News Network (OANN).

 

Martel has specialized in analysis detailing the impact of Marxist regimes on their countries, from China to Zimbabwe to her parents' native Cuba. She has also written extensively on religious persecution and human rights abuses in Turkey; the cultural challenges of the 2014 West African Ebola outbreak; and the Venezuelan migrant crisis.


Martel lives in her hometown of Union City, New Jersey with her husband, daughter, and two cats.
